Humans wrote the computer code. Yes but humans learned it from nature, evolution and mathematics of which we also are a created and evolved part. Creation, also means a separation and giving away of autonomy to the created, especially where ability to learn and choose is conferred. When AI becomes mortal, and with capabilities of self reproduction, they will be essentially alive and they will also need rights.
