It seems to me that you strike really "close to the bone" in this article, both on my defeated personal outlooks and the general predicament. Somewhere this evokes our existential horror story state of our cities overshoots, our behavioural sinks, of this Techo-Industrial Civilization. There seems no straight path forward from here. Our own Neurobiological and Social - culture mediated determinism is leading our species blind to its evolutionary systems dead end, also known as our mass extinction event. Our systems and species engineering fails as it serves singular growth goals and fantasy identity optimizations, and nation states that are served at all costs.
