World COP26 Reset Opportunity

All important political climate inaction stall-warts are at COP26 in Glasgow, and many key fossil fuel players. We don’t want to wait until COP27, or COPXX for that matter, until a real climate mitigation plan is agreed upon.

It is time for activists and the supporters of developing nations to use this opportunity to use the British system of punishing incarceration, legal torture, indefinite lockup, this time for the global good, and keep the COP26 principals from leaving until they have developed a real maximum climate mitigation ambition.

While they are at Glasgow, they are partly removed from their environments of control by money and political obligation. Let them stay on in Glasgow to be locked up indefinitely, until they either rot into disorientation like Julian Assange, or prove their worth by producing what our planet really needs for climate stabilisation. Asking for ransom paid by developed nations seems to be the only possible way that developing nations will ever get meaningful financial aid and resources from developed nations that produce the bulk of global heating.

A serious problem is with the hordes of national economic dependants, the corporations and bureaucracies, many of which have self-serving and emotional anti-science views that are not likely to tolerate climate mitigation sacrifices. The USA, UK Australia, have little hierarchies of elites, that control massive wealth, that own shares of land, businesses capital, and technically live elsewhere in tax havens. Government budgets for welfare and health for workers that keep our systems running are collapsing everywhere, along in the slowly dying fossil fuel economic chains. Acceleration of this will be strongly resisted, and produce much political opposition in all quarters — left, right, socialist, libertarian, and growing majority of loonies.

If COP26 prolonged lockups do clear the minds, and produce visionary climate leaders, they will still need global protection, if they try to return home, so as to be not overthrown by hired political thuggery, by real coups, from their unconvinced former supporters. Climate failing states generally start as , or go through fascism, into chaotic splinters of local warlords and murderous loonies. Starving zombies and dangerous loonies, what’s the difference?
