Unfortunate that large scale human conflict occurs in a deadly game of overshoot musical chairs as more survival resources become inaccessible to most, except rich and powerful people with access to military hardware and dependent killer troops. So this becomes class warfare, civil wars, as much as international conflicts. The power elites in all political arenas are stocking up, and quietly withdrawing all forms of social welfare, even as net energy depletion pushes inflation and shortages. Politics is awash with false narratives. Western industrial civilization is already a hungry ravenous zombie. If I and You can think this, be sure that everyone that thinks is already playing their own game plan while pretending to carry on with business as usual. Assume most cunning people already know, and the public reasons given for all strategic actions are a cover. The powerless masses are slaughtered by mutual antagonism, in order to make room for the worst of manipulators, and carry out nature's plan of overshoot reduction.
