Warning , everybody lies. Human beings are a predator species that prey on nearly everything. The decline of nearly everything surely follows as a corollary. Lying is also part of a predators skill. David Siegel being amongst the very skilful, with aspects of the predators that all successful entrepreneurs must have. Lying includes denial of the personally inconvenient. Nobody tells the entire truth because that would be far too complex. It is simpler to lie and deny. Science tends to use repeatable observations, on well defined entities. Otherwise their results are falsified and corrected later on. Denial starts with the sum of observations of life being an existential challenge in the frightening universal scheme of alien things, such that the sum total of human endeavours is malignantly useless, apart from a brief period of time spent entertaining ourselves with our delusions.
