What a funny, sophisticated poke. We animals and our behaviors have so many interacting layers of evolutionary emergence, too complex to explain. All driven by need for food, water, complex metabolism control and reproduction. Life has built up many long ways from first origins in chemical energies of carbon molecule cyclic reactions. Most of the time we have only a vague awareness of underlying deciders in our biochemistry, sexual or otherwise. Robert Sapolsky has tried to explain our lack of free will. Cannot claim personal credit for anything.
